    डीडीयू राज्य ग्रामीण विकास संस्थान (SIRD) सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी का उपयोग अपने महत्वपूर्ण कार्यों के लिए करता है। SIRD यूपी एक पूर्ण नेटवर्क से जुड़ा परिसर है और अपने प्रशिक्षण एवं प्रशासनिक कार्यों के लिए आईटी पर निर्भर करता है। SIRD में आईटी अवसंरचना के मुख्य घटक इस प्रकार हैं:

    • The SIRD is well equipped with computer lab to impart training in computer application.There are two labs having capacity of 50 computers and other one is 30 computers.The strength of computer lab with 100 computers are finalize and under processing. All the computers are connected Wi-Fi and WLAN(Wireless Local area Network) Dedicated server. For Internet Access Lease line has been provided, which facilitates high-speed instant internet access. Apart from these resources to make the training programmes more effective, Equipment like LCD Projectors, multi media and audio visuals aids etc.are used.
    • The It infrastructure of SIRD Computer center includes a fiber optics backbones based campus-wide networks, connecting computers on hetrogenious platforms with several servers.
    • High Speed leased Line of 1Gbps from NKN(National Knowledge Network,New Delhi) NIC 100 Mbps leased line from BSNL.
    • Each hostel room is connected with Wi-Fi available in commomn rooms.
    • Approxmately 25 Switches (L2 and L3),50 Access Points and Fiber backbone consists Campus Network.
    • Video Conferencing Services also available in all Gosthi.
    • During the mandatory training program i.e. foundation and profession training program for ISTM, Rural Development, Panchayatiraj Department UP,NIRD & PR,FSSAI, MGNAREGA & Line Department, SIRD regularly conducts computer training classes for probationers.
    • The nominated candidates from different departments are imparted computers training, sponsored by DOPT & ISTM Govt. of India, FSSAI, UPSRLM, Rural Development, SRLM, etc.
    • Wi-Fi Campus: The Wireless LAN has been set up in such a way that it provides seamless mobility from one hotspot to another without losing connection or signal stength.
    • Live video Streaming through CISCO WEBEX:Live feed of the classroom can be telecasted to any location connected through Internet protocol (IP).All the class rooms have live-streaming cameras so that the faculty members can view the classess sitting in their offices.
    • Video conferencing Facility:SIRD has well-equipped class rooms and conference halls with video-conferencing systems.This is used for classess and other official meetings,Internet connectivity under National Knowledge Network (NKN) of 100 Mbps is being utilized for this.
    • Cyber security-SIRD UP interest with CERT-in(The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team under the ministry of Electronics and Information Technology,Goverment of India)to ensure IT security.We also have SOPHOS firewall for internet security in campus.
